The behaviour of the media over the disaster of Brown's premierships is one of the most disturbing aspects of his recovery.

And its not just the usual suspects, but the Telegraph and Daily Mail also.

You have to start wondering what's really going on.

It has been plain for a number of years that neither The Daily Telegraph nor The Daily Mail support the Conservative Party. The "Tory Press" that Labour politicians always bleat about no longer exists and indeed has not done so these past fifteen years. Whereas The Guardian, The Financial Times and The Daily Mirror can be relied upon to support Labour, only The Daily Express and now The Sun are sympathetic to the Conservative cause. As I have said elsewhere, most journalists subscribe to the Labour Project anyway and most senior media commentators still instinctively genuflect to the Labour Goliath. The voters have other ideas however, and the more the Mainstream Media talks up the idea of a hung Parliament or even another Labour General Election victory the more their resolve to kick out the most incompetent, deceitful, bullying and corrupt government since the eighteenth century.
