The BBC and those within it know full well that the license fee will not disappear anytime soon and they have free reign to say whatever they want. Look at the BBC website for example. The Have Your Say section is a complete joke. Unless you say something they agree with, your comments are not posted. Hardly a bastion of free speech, which incidently, the BBC love to preach about, well, unless Islam is involved of course.
