I'm always a bit unsure about celebrating a victory for the masses against our bungling masters in cases like this. We often hear stories about motorists overturning parking fines and speeding violations due to the illegality of certain aspects of the legal process, but all this means is that the nanny state will gradually learn from its mistakes, close the loopholes, and end up will a tighter grip on our lives than before. These are pyrrhic victories indeed for the cause of freedom.
