I'm not saying he's a liar, I'm saying that unless he does something more than say "we will not let it drop" He wont get my vote and if that means that Labour get back in Chatham and Aylesford (Marginal) well, that's Tory policies for you. He's banking on people being more pissed off with Labour than they are over the EU. It's a very dangerous gamble.
